Train Stop Templates form
Train Stop Templates allow planners to to set up a train template for a train visit for a specific time window, for example, if you know you will have train calls at predictable times. In order to use the Train Stop Template, you need to already have Train Templates (on page 1) set up.
Once you have set up train stop templates, you can create train visits (on page 1) using those templates.

To create a train stop template:
Under the Main section:
Select the Train Template as the basis for the train stop. If you don't have any train templates set up, create templates using the the Train Template form (on page 1).
For Template Weekday, you'll be able to choose the departure day of for the train stop, based on which days were specified for the train template that you selected.
The Facility will auto-populate from the train template.
For Stop Order, indicate the known sequence of the particular stop within with the train service. For example, if you're setting up a template for a stop that is the second stop within a train service, enter 2.
Under the Time Window section:
For ETA Weekday, select the estimated arrival day.
For ETA Time, specify the estimated arrival time.
Optionally, indicate shunt in duration by specifying the shunt in start with Shunt In From and the end time with Shunt In To.
For ETD Weekday, select the estimated departure day.
For ETD Time, specify the estimated departure time.
Optionally, indicate shunt out duration by specifying the shunt out start with Shunt Out From and the end time with Shunt Out To.
Under the Details section:
For Max Slots, indicate the maximum number of train slots this destination can use.
For Max Weight in kg, indicate the maximum weight of the train for this stop.
Optionally you can specify the maximum length, and the number of cars for train.
Under the Destinations tab:
Select the Routing Point.
Enter the Maximum Slots allowed for that train visit destination.
For the Calling Order, indicate the known sequence of the particular stop within with the train service. For example, if you're setting up a template for a stop that is the second stop within a train service, enter 2.of the destination relative to the entire train service.
To generate a carrier service:
Define the destinations for the carrier service under the Destinations tab.
Select Actions>Generate Carrier Service.
A carrier service is created that includes the Route Point, Max Slots, and Facility. The ID for the carrier services is a combination of the name of the train template and the template weekday values. For example if the Train Template is 11, and the Template Weekday is Monday, then the Carrier Service ID that is generated will be 11_Monday. This value will appear in the Carrier Services view.
To import a carrier service to pre-populate routing information:
Note: You can only import carrier service information if no destinations are currently defined for the Train Stop Template.
Select Actions>Import Carrier Service. From the Service drop-down, select a carrier service with a current facility routing point. This will populate carrier service information in the Destinations table.
